Part of the Community, not just in it

Supporting our Local Community & Good Causes

Although we're a small business, we love being part of the community, and we want to contribute to causes and local groups. This is why in 2020, we announced our first Charity of the Year and aim to raise funds for a charity chosen by our team.

How we're supporting the community

  • Ebbw Vale Wheelchair Sports Club
In 2019, Roseblade Media sponsored the main trophy for the Ebbw Vale Wheelchair Sports Club birthday bash. Part of the event saw England and Wales compete in Wheelchair Rugby 7s, in a bid to take home the trophy
  • Hospice of the Valleys
Our two directors, Mathew and Siân, climbed to the top of Pen-y-Fan in 2019, and again in 2022, to help raise funds for the local charity, Hospice of the Valleys, as part of the Hospice Big Welsh Walk
  • Waunlwyd Rangers U12s
We've supported a local football team, Waunlwyd Rangers (u12s), by purchasing new training balls and storage bags to help prepare them for their upcoming season
  • Pernicious Anemia Society
In 2020, the Pernicious Anemia Society were nominated as the Roseblade Media charity of the year, with various activities organised to raise funds for a vital cause

And, in November 2022, Team Roseblade (and friends) are walking more than 18 miles to raise vital funds for Marie Curie

Penguin Parade 🐧

On Saturday 19th November 2022, team Roseblade will be walking a circular route of the Ebbw Fach and Ebbw Fawr valleys, to raise funds for Marie Curie.

Their "Penguin Parade" mascot, Penelope, will also be joining them.

18.5 miles may not seem like a challenge for some, but at least one of our team struggles with their garden path!
